New Youth City Hornets was born in the winter of 2007. After the encouragement of his peers, former players and Coach's, it was time. Coach Moon worked vigorously to script a blue print that would govern the newly found organization. Now it was time to assemble a team of willing and committed staff who would take on the challenges of housing another football program in the Village of Harlem.

As in any business, getting the best people with the desire, and commitment to represent the brand is what's important and it would definitely take teamwork to make this dream work. He put together a staff of hardworking individuals that would help usher in a new generation of community service through sports. New Youth City, Inc. has been servicing kids from ages 7-14 since its inception.

To date the Hornets have been playing in the Big Apple Youth Football League (BAYFL) which is governed by the United Youth Football League (UFYL) which competes on a National Level.

The plan is to make boys grow to young men which is the foundation of becoming a positive man through football. It takes a village to raise a child so let's join hands and build ours.
